Join us at Fourth and Church for an exploration of Madeira wines hosted by good friend James Hands from Iberian Importer Raymond Reynolds.

Founded in 1946, Vinhos Barbeito is one of Madeira’s most exciting and respected producers, combining the island’s rich winemaking heritage with a progressive approach to quality and style. Under winemaker Ricardo Freitas, Barbeito has helped redefine expectations of Madeira, crafting wines celebrated for their purity, elegance and extraordinary balance of freshness and acidity.

Expect a fascinating journey through a range of styles, from crisp, dry and mineral to rich, complex and beautifully sweet, discovering the remarkable character and ageing potential that make Madeira so unique.

Designed for both curious newcomers and seasoned wine lovers, this educational tasting offers the chance to explore Madeira’s fascinating history, grape varieties and winemaking traditions, discovering a range of styles from crisp and dry to rich and beautifully sweet.  

This will be an intimate evening of exceptional wines, shared discoveries and conversation around the table.

The tickets include five glorious pours. For those of you that are hungry we will have our full a la carte menu to choose from on the evening.

Tickets are non-refundable, in the case of a cancellation we will endeavour to re-sell the places however, this may not be possible. In the event of a discretionary refund we will retain 10% for admin and to cover card processing fees.
