About Us:
Fourth & Church is a restaurant wine bar in Hove placed in Brighton’s 20 Best Restaurants for the second year running. We specialise in small and sharing plates with wines from small producers to drink alongside. We have a ever expanding programme of curing, pickling and preserving meats, fish and vegetables as well as sourcing goods from artisan producers. We draw on influences from around Europe, North Africa and the Levant with an emphasis on building deep flavours. We use modern and traditional techniques to highlight quality ingredients in our hot and cold dishes.

You can show:

  • Experience in a quality kitchen environment
  • Track record of managing/ mentoring other staff
  • Proven ability to execute production to meet time, and quality standards
  • Strong desire to improve skills and knowledge
  • Good palete. Non Smoking preferred.

Working hours:

  • Full time including availability on weekends and evenings

Requirements:

  • Able to excel in a busy environment
  • Able to effectively perform under pressure with a focus on quality
  • Able to manage kitchen staff in the absence of the head chef
  • Able to ensure a safe working environment by executing the H&S management system and managing staff appropriately

Twice awarded a spot in the Brighton Best Restaurants top 20 we serve small sharing plates, charcuterie and cheese  to sit  alongside an ever changing list of wines by the glass and bottles from our retail shelves.
