It is run by Sam Pryor and Paul Morgan, two cooks and wine enthusiasts who have worked in , bars and wine shops for many years. We borrow traditions from around the world to create new and exciting dishes that are packed with layers of flavour and beautifully balanced to deliver those “wow” moments… However we don’t take ourselves too seriously. We favour fun over formality and turn simple into special.
We work with our friends at Butlers Wine Cellar who supply us with a large range of fantastic wines and spirits. Butlers Wine Cellar are an award winning wine merchant and Brighton institution. We benefit from their great knowledge of wine and network of amazing winemakers and suppliers.
PURVEYORS OF FLAVOUR
People have been fermenting grapes and grain to make wine and beer for centuries. This fermentation process is used by cultures all over the world to preserve other foods such as cheese, bread, charcuterie and pickles. Sharing the flavour of cultured and preserved foods with friends and customers is the inspiration behind what we do at Fourth & Church.
Not only do our products taste fantastic, they have integrity too. We seek out the best of seasonal produce, supporting artisanal producers and independent winemakers from across the UK and Europe. We share our passion and curiosity, bringing lovingly curated flavours from around the world to our local neighbourhood.
